The Community Foundation Martin – St. Lucie will work in partnership with local governments and other local funders to ensure  an efficient process for organizations to request funding through a universal application process. The following funders in St. Lucie County have joined together to establish a coordinated Coronavirus (COVID-19) Relief & Recovery application process:

Funding priorities include:

  • Emergency food, shelter and other basic needs including cleaning supplies and services as needed
  • Expansion of service capacity related to increased demand for direct services
  • Access to health care services for uninsured and underinsured clients
  • Technology and other resources to allow your organization to continue to provide services

*Applications can be accessed through this system. Funding will be made directly from one or more of the participating funders to the applicant agency. Final funding decisions and reporting requirements are exclusively the purview of the participating funder(s).

Each funder participating in the Consortium will individually allocate their own resources to the organizations and grants that fit within the funder’s guidelines and funding priorities.

The Consortium allows all funders to have access and to review all applications submitted through a universal application process. This collaboration allows funders to share data and information and encourages funding partnerships.

On behalf of all the funders collaborating in the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Relief & Recovery application process, we thank you for submitting your application and for serving our community in these trying times. Applicants must be nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations that provide services to St. Lucie County residents. Government entities currently receiving funding from any of the funding partners are eligible to apply.

Nonprofit organizations are encouraged to submit applications as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and awards will be made periodically. Currently there is no application deadline. Be assured that we are reviewing the applications as fast as we can and if one of the funders is in need of more information about your proposal and/or is going to provide funding to your organization, you will hear directly from them.  Please know that we are committed to make the best use of available resources to address the highest priority needs. Given the volume and amount of requests, please be advised that we do not expect to be able to cover all funding requests; and we may not be able to fund the full amount of each request.

Applications can be accessed through this system. Funding will be made directly from one or more of the participating funders to the applicant agency. Final funding decisions and reporting requirements are exclusively the purview of the participating funder(s).

The Fund partners understand the COVID-19 pandemic is having and will continue to have a significant impact on individuals and families in Martin and St. Lucie Counties.
